Arteta Warns Fitness Woes Could Undermine Arsenal's Silverware Hunt
Arsenal's manager has expressed concern that his team's pursuit for honors this season is being threatened by a concerning circle of fitness setbacks and a relentless fixture list.

"Training, no because we don't have time to train. But obviously the fact that you are missing players, you are placing demands on other players more, there's a consequence to that and it's a really vicious circle."
Dowman's issue is the latest in a long series of injuries for the North London side. Since the beginning of last season, they have suffered 95 injuries, the second-most total in the Premier League.
Long-Term Absentees
- Defenders Cristhian Mosquera and Gabriel Magalhães are unlikely to be back until 2025.

Arteta dismissed the idea that training methods were to culprit, pointing to a shortage of opportunity for drills. He highlighted the pressure on fit players, some of whom have featured over 150 matches in two seasons.

Despite a significant summer spend exceeding £250 million, Arteta insisted the club is unlikely planning to dip into the January recruitment market.
