Los Angeles witnessed widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos show countless of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the third time we’re going to achieve this,” the star player remarked through an interpreter.
The parade route concluded at the stadium, where the players emerged to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with the renowned DJ providing music and Ice Cube driving a Pacific blue classic car around the stadium’s outfield.

Celebrations started prior to the procession, with supporters lighting flares in the roads of Downtown Los Angeles on the previous evening.
