Vinted Users Express Anger About Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has revised its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel failing to inform all users about the change.

Numerous buyers and vendors have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display a different size category compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The platform stated the revised method more closely matches other platforms.
The platform has recommended to review their products and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Size Classification Modifications
Before the change, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Experiences
Frankie Bridger, who produces content about larger sizing, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, from Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they will likely be quite upset," she explained.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she stated.
Platform Context
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: previously, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
